Dani Marco is a Magna
Cum Laude graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in
Studio Art and Art History from the University of New Mexico
in Albuquerque, NM. While at college, she performed Flamenco
and African dance in Albuquerque's Popejoy Hall, and acted
in some independent films. Upon her arrival back to the east
coast, Dani became a certified reflexologist and began working
at a performance center and gym. There, she was a dance instructor
of Flamenco for teens, and taught jazz, hip-hop, ballet, merengue,
and fitness to children. This work also led her to a soloist
performance for WB 11's "Care for Kids" campaign
and various volunteer performances. She remained at the performance
center for a few years and then moved into New York.
Dani went the corporate route and worked
in the creative department of a large advertisingagency called
Lowe Lintas & Partners. She then moved back to her first
calling performance -- and has been auditioning as an actress
and dancer ever since. Ms. Marco studies Flamenco in Manhattan,
Yoga in Brooklyn, and frequents the Broadway Dance Center.
She is an avid traveler who recently went to Spain to research
the Flamenco culture. She is receiving voice instruction,
plans to attend acting classes in the fall, and someday (if
she ever decides what she wants) gradschool. She is currently
wrapping up another feature, called "S.I." (Staten
Island), which includes cameo appearances by some A-list talent.
Dani wants to pre-thank her friends and family who have and
will hopefully continue to emotionally support her on this
bumpy road. |
